ABOUT THIS TOUR
Join us on our walking tour of Split and discover the many and varied influences of centuries of occupation by different cultures. From the Romans and Venetians to the Austrians and the French – all have left their mark on the city. Our guides will show you the beautiful Diocletian’s palace, as well as the various churches, cathedrals, city walls gates and the bustling squares which boast the diverse architectural influences on Split. Once you’ve enjoyed the many sights of the city, our guide will finish the tour with a walk up the Marjan hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the city and a brief escape from the bustling streets below
Then its back to old town Split and for those who have built up a thirst we’ll show you the wonderful Jazz bar where you can enjoy a great glass of wine or the best black stuff (Guinness) in town.
We generally run the tour in the cool of the morning and evening unless you would like to see the fantastic changing of the guard ceremony in high season but we can arrange any suitable time for a group of people who have limited time.
