ABOUT THIS TOUR
A fabulous day tour from Split to enjoy unforgettable sights and unspoilt nature – ideal for families and friends alike … Our tour follows the general itinerary below but we are quite happy to stop at other places along the way especially if you’ve spotted that ideal photo opportunity.
Our boat trip starts at 7.30am on Matejuska pier, central Split, so please be at the pier by 7.20am promptly where you are greeted by both our skipper and guide… Please let us have your CONTACT DETAILS BEFOREHAND – we can then provide you with the exact GPS coordinates by request or please just pop into our office the day before the tour where we will provide directions on our City map. We can also arrange for this tour to start and end in Trogir – times below from Split will vary but just let us know when you book.
Our first stop is to Trogir town. Trogir has had 2300 years of cultural and architectural influence by Greeks, Romans, Venetians and Austrians. In 1997, Trogir was recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site. We will stop for short walk, breakfast or morning coffee. We visit the Kamerlengo fortress and an opportunity to take breathtaking pictures of this little gem of a town.
Our second stop is to the Blue Lagoon. Blue lagoon bay is a sandy bay where you will have free time for swimming, snorkeling and enjoying the sun. The Lagoon is situated between 3 islands. Here you can see mountain goats and many different species of birds.
Our third stop is Maslinica village. This picturesque village presents an ideal opportunity to see a real Dalmatian fisherman village and local customs. We stop on a lovely local sandy beach for a short swim.
Our fourth stop is Stomorska town. Stomorska is a small pretty town where we usually stop for lunch in a traditional tavern which serves some of the best local Dalmatian cuisine. We take a short walk around Stomorska.
Our fifth stop is to the Shipwreck Necujam. This old wooden boat sank during a violent storm some years ago and now creates a great place for snorkeling. You can snorkel around the wreck using our snorkelling gear – great fun!
