ISLAND HOPPING TOUR
ABOUT THIS TOUR
With so many beautiful islands in Croatia – in fact over 1000 islands – only 48 of which are inhabited – why not join us to discover some absolutely beautiful examples of those islands around Split.
Our new boat seats a maximum 12 people and is fully equipped with all modern equipment and safety gear. We never crowd our boats!
Our boat trip starts at 7.30am on Matejuska pier, central Split, so please be at the pier by 7.20am promptly where you are greeted by our skipper …
We head to the Blue Cave, so named because of the blue glowing light that coats the cave and can be very atmospheric at certain times of the day.
Then we’re off to Monk Seal Cave – a narrow cave, hidden from much of the public and the last known habitat of the Adriatic Seal.
We visit Komiža town, a picturesque and typical island fishing town where you can take a coffee or perhaps enjoy breakfast.
Travelling via the Vis caves, the next stop is Stiniva Bay Beach, considered by many to be one of the finest beaches in all of Europe. Its picture postcard clear blue water is something to write home about!
Refreshed after our swim, we set course for Budikovac Bay/Smokova Bay. Budikovac bay, sometimes referred to as the Blue lagoon, is a small, uninhabited island located in the Vis archipelago. This bay lies northeast of Ravnik island and is located close to Rukavac on the island of Vis. The natural Bay is located between 2 islands – Veli and Mali Budikovac – a great place for swimming and snorkelling.
Then we make our way to the last stop of our day tour – the famous Hvar Town, which lies in one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is also home to a rich cultural heritage which is unique to the Croatian coastline. For the more energetic, you can climb up the hill and visit the ancient Fortica fortress which gives you a fantastic view of the surrounding area not to mention it’s 7th century walls. After
climbing the hill you might want to enjoy a well-deserved drink in one of the town’s famous bars – for the less energetic, just soak up the wonderful atmosphere of Hvar town and enjoy a leisurely late lunch.
Then we head back to Split.
We can also arrange for this tour to start and end in Trogir – times below from Split will vary but just let us know when you book
