TROGIR AND SPLIT – A HALF DAY TOUR
ABOUT THIS TOUR
This “tale of two cities” tour of Trogir and Split, Croatia is ideal for those looking for things to do in Split and who have limited time.
The tour heads to Trogir in our small group, fully WIFI/AC minibus. Trogir is just a 35 minute drive from Split. Trogir has had 2300 years of cultural and architectural influence by Greeks, Romans, Venetians and Austrians. In 1997, Trogir was recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site.
We tour Trogir with a local guide pointing out some of the many highlights and places of historical significance prior to giving you a little free-time to roam the streets of Trogir, prior to heading back to Split.
From the Romans and Venetians to the Austrians and the French – all have left their mark on Split.
Our guided Split tour will show you the beautiful Diocletian’s palace, as well as the various churches, cathedrals, city walls gates and the bustling squares and markets which boast the diverse architectural influences in Split.
Once you’ve enjoyed the many sights of Split, our tour guide will finish the tour with a walk up the Marjan hill, the lungs of Split, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the city and a brief escape from the bustling streets below.
Having worked up an appetie, if you’re in Split for dinner, we’ll also recommend the best Split restaurants to eat at, depending on your preference…
